Sat in my shack, I once thought "Whereabouts is Carl (my mate) in relation to my location"? And I guessed completely wrong! In fact, I was a clog out!
And the same applies when I think about where other locations are - like the Repeater at Accrington or the one on the Isle Of Man.
So I created a quick "At A Glance" map to quickly orient me. Apart from general direction, it also gives me a compass bearing from my QTH.
